He is half- High Fae, and half-Illyrian, and once had a younger sister. Rhysand was born to the then-High Lord of the Night Court and his mate, an Illyrian seamstress. In the end, she accepts the mating bond and he swears Feyre in as his High Lady. When she is resurrected, their mating bond clicks into place, but he hides it from her in fear that it would scare her away. Not long after, he helps Feyre countless times throughout her trials Under the Mountain and goes as far as to fight for her in the final moments before she dies. He meets Feyre when he saves her from three faeries at Calanmai. He is incredibly handsome and appears to be arrogant, careless, and cold at first. Rhysand (pronounced Ree-sand ) is the most powerful High Lord in history and the current ruler of the Night Court, alongside Feyre Archeron. Do not think I wouldn’t become a monster to keep them protected.
